The Best Is Yet to Come…
Matteo Vecchi is a photographer of architecture and still-life.
For several years he photographed products for food retailers and not to big brands, such as Metro and Coop, with a special eye for the food-photography, to which were added reportage and commercial footprint portraits.
His experience in advertising and still-life photography, his attention to detail, his love for the lines and volumes, gives a special taste to his images, in order to improve every detail.
His true passion and preparation remains that for architectural photography, which led him to accept the commitment of the Palau de la Musica Catalana in Barcelona for a series of shots of the theater and interne.Sempre venues in Barcelona to report work still being finalized performed in the two Gaudi houses from which flows his passion for his follower Calatrava.
Expresses its most artistic using Holga, and Polaroid in contrast with the digital age.
He does not want to be a revolutionary but more a romantic nostalgia of alternative photographic now almost unknown in our time.
This also leads to its contrast the pictures with his iPhone showing that it is not the medium of photography that makes the photo. To note the recent work of reportage on Cambodia executed largely by mobile phone.
He is co-founder of FotoPerCorsi, which organizes photography courses, excursions and workshops.
He also founded Eliantho, a collective of 4 photographers dedicated to wedding photography and unconventional events.
ALL THESE PHOTOS ARE TAKEN WITH MY MIND AND MY HEART USING MY EYES WITH AN EVOLVED PINHOLE.
